It is here that we once inscribed the glorious tales of ages past, and now document the unceasing wars that ravage our planet. Starless Skies is a universe with extensive lore spanning nearly five years, and still sees new lore to this day.

The world, once, was as we knew it. The two dominant races of Earth, Humans and Furries, lived together in an unstable peace. One day, however, the oppressed Furry species began an uprising, overtaking much of the planet. Their advance was stymied only by the foundation of the Gamer militias and the support of their allies. The Furries were pushed back, but the old world order crumbled. For many years, Earth was little more than uncountable warring factions vying for what land and glory they could gain. Nevertheless, progress marched onward. Great strides were made in military technology, with some nations even developing entire fleets of spaceships and exploring beyond the bounds of the Solar System. Despite constant warring, the human population skyrocketed, and what could arguably be considered a golden age of ingenuity dawned. Whenever a threat tested the collective spirit of humanity, however, they set aside their differences and, no matter what, prevailed.
They thought themselves invincible; their hubris proved their downfall.
In the year AD 2022, a swift and overwhelming invasion was launched against mankind by the forces of Hell itself, scouring the world whole. In an instant, the modern age came to an end. Over the course of a handful of weeks, three quarters of the human population perished in a catastrophic apocalypse referred to now as simply “The Bloodbath”.
Humanity, once the apex predator of the Solar System, scattered. The Demons were pushed back, but relished in the unparalleled annihilation they had caused. Despite all that had happened, mankind continued to war with itself. Millions who remained flocked to the banners of new empires, many of which could not sustain themselves. Darker threats, once unseen and unknown, emerged as well. It was a time of great suffering.
However. in a last-ditch effort, humanity’s finest banded together and broke the seal containing the planet. Earth was free, but forever scarred. A year later, humanity was visited by saviors from beyond: the Star Commonwealth, a benevolent federation of off-world humans who heard of Earth’s plight. They defended humanity for a time, and helped them rebuild. Eventually, however, the Commonwealth’s true intentions were revealed. The Commonweath began to harvest Earth of its’ resources, claiming the planet as part of their interstellar empire. Humanity began to resist, but revolts were swiftly dealt with by cybernetic Star Peacekeepers.
The year is now 2032, ten years after The Bloodbath. For the last 4 years, humanity has waged a cold war against the Commonwealth and their allies on Earth. Both sides, wary of the other, have refused to land the first blow. However, that may soon change…
General Overview of the Rules

Rule 1: Do not be toxic/mean, it will get you nowhere. This includes starting fights/drama, also including provoking others. Do not commit actions of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. Joking about these topics, or any other sensitive topic, is involved in this. Dark humor is allowed, but what counts as dark humor matters. "Humor is subjective" isn't a defense. Saying that won't save you, nor will calling a crude statement "dark humor." If you can't explain the joke, don't say it.
Rule 2: Do not say anything that could be considered illegal (ex: threats). Don't incite or instigate illegal activity. Do not say anything that could lead to legal suspicions. Be careful with what you say, it could be harmful to more people than just you.
Rule 3: Be respectful of privacy. Don't go around begging for personal info. If you want to share a conversation, all parties of that conversation must consent to the conversation being shared. The exception to this rule is any conversation that deals with speaking of illegal, criminal, or any activity that could be considered rule breaking. In this instance, only report the conversation to someone on the administration team. Failing to do so, and spreading this info publicly, will lead to repercussions on your part as well.
Rule 4: NSFW content is off-limits on the wiki. Do not post anything of nudity, gore, zoophilia, or ANYTHING that could be seen as NSFW. Consequences depend on severity.
Rule 5: If you see someone on the administrative team breaking any of the rules, you are allowed to report it to someone else. No one is above the rules.
Rule 6: Miscellaneous things. To be on this wiki, as it is mainly centered around the discord, you must be 13 years are older. Don't lie about your age if you're younger than 13, if you are found out to be lying, you will be banned until you are 13 years old. In addition, any reasonable standard can be applied even if not stated in the rules (ex: no spam on posting, shitposting is involed with this). Even if it's not explicitly stated in the rules, if you think something could be against the rules, it probably is, so don't do it. If you're really pressed to know, ask a mod or admin.

Timeline of Space-based events - Magnificent conflicts were once fought beyond our atmosphere. With the Great Veil separating the Solar System from the outer galaxy, these stories have begun to fade with time. Perhaps future generations will doubt whether the Milky Way exists at all.
Current timeline of events - A catalogue of all events during and after mankind's fall.
Notable factions
Kingdom of Northumberland - Defiant against Eurasia, under a Fascist Absolute Monarchy, and the rump state of the 2nd UK, Northumberland is potrayed as evil, when they are actually only half of that. Rebellion and protests are put down with lethal force and punishments are unethical at most, but they are against ethnic cleansing and try to work with local cultures, nkt against them.
The Magnolian Republic - By far the most economically stable of the remaining American nations, the Magnolian Republic is a largely southern country. Currently focused on uniting the fractured American Southeast.
The Kyotian Ascendancy - A mysterious group of Demons and other ethereal beings who work to rebuild the Kyotian Empire. Led by Ascendant Empress Chidori.
